If you’re into anything that has to do with off road you’ve probably heard the name of Blake Wilkey. Chances are, you’ve seen the viral video Urban Assault or maybe his latest Mini Boat Mafia short. He was the winner of Hoonigan’s Build & Battle Series last year and even won the Lakebed Launch at King of Hammers earlier this year. Now he’s adding a new vehicle to his fleet and it’s already equipped with Method Race Wheels—a Polaris RZR Pro XP.

Blake says, “The build is currently finished for now. It was a build I wanted to have be easily duplicated by anyone with a 2020 Pro XP Ultimate while working with other top tier companies.” Blake explains that comfort was the main goal with this Polaris for different types of adventures and purpose and something different from what used to in his high horsepower Megaladon off road car. Blake’s Polaris RZR will have on the fly dynamic suspension with a comfort level that can be easily adjusted say, he finds a few jumps he wants to hit while roaming around new territories.

For suspension Blake opted for an MTS suspension set up and HCR long travel kit. To stiffen things up Blake went with a Magnum Off Road roll cage. The exterior includes a Wilkey Works roof rack and front bumper, Rigid lights, TMW doors and a Chupacabra x Shreddy mirror set. For wheels and tires Blake went with Method Race Wheels’ 409 UTV Series wheels wrapped around Gladiator X-Comp A/T 33” tires.

Interior is kept simple with PRP seats and harnesses, a Rugged Radio Intercom system, Pedal Commander throttle response controller and other creature comforts such as Rockford Fosgate stereo.

Blake says, “Not being used to 4 wheel drive, the power delivery and traction on the XP Pro is so consistently smooth from low to high speeds making it a blast to drive! Even completely stock these machines will surprise you!”

Blake closes off by telling us he has a ton of plans for his Polaris: Martinez Lake River Trip, Glamis-Camp RZR, UTV Takeover – Sand Hollow and Big Bear Trail Ride are all on schedule before 2020 is over. Blake’s build is equipped with our 409 wheels from our UTV Series. You can check it out below.
